FNSI
I forgot to even blog about the Friday Night Sew In. I did work on these hexagons. Maybe someday I will have enough done to actually complete a table runner. I have 20 of those flowers done, so think I'll do a total of 24 and call it good for now so I can say I completed a project. Since they are all stitched by hand, it takes me a while.

Will be joining along with the FNSI this week. I have plenty to accomplish. Sign up over at Handmade by Heidi and have some fun.

Valentine Potholders
Like miniature quilts, but not. These gave me a lot of binding practice. I'm giving them away to our gals at the Friday Night Sew-in this evening.

FNSI
Some of us gals in the Rexburg area are getting together for a Friday Night Sew-in on the 10th. If you would like to join us, that would be great! You could send me a link to what you worked on if you can't be here in person. On Saturday I will post pictures from our party. For those of you close by (and you know who you are!), the FNSI will begin at 7 p.m. at my house.

Friday Night Sew-In
Here are a few highlights from our Friday Night Sew-in.
I've really got to figure out how to label my pictures. Maybe Jessica can help me with that later tonight. I mostly worked on the rag quilt you see here. Took a new twist on ragging and did strips instead of squares, then put it together so it would rag on both sides. I clipped all the edges and washed it a couple of times and it's already softening up nicely.
I made the sprocket pincushions for the girls as gifts. I ended up making six of them because they were cute and fun. You can find the pattern on Cluck Cluck Sew blog. These are a quick and easy project and would make a great stocking stuffer for any sewer.

Friday Night Sew-In
Don't forget to sign up for the Friday Night Sew-in. It's this Friday, but there will be another one again next Friday if you can't do this one. You can sign up right here. As usual, there will be a chance to win prizes. At my own FNSI we always have goodies, or a light meal, and door prizes. Have fun and hope you get lots accomplished!
You can also click on this button to sign up:

P.S. I'm not able to post everything I've been working on lately for obvious reasons. I wouldn't want the recipients to see all their Christmas gifts early! So I will be sure to play catch-up later.
