Gardening

The weather has been a little cooler, so did spend some time in the gardens this week. Our breezeway garden and the circle drive garden are a work in progress. Terry helps me or they wouldn't look this good. Still room for improvement. We have plans for more flower beds in the near future.

 The top picture is a close-up of the log cabin quilt I made for Bonnie.  Next is the full-size view of that one.  Bottom pic is of the wedding ring quilt I made for Laura.

 

Confessions

I really don't dream just about quilting. However, it is my passion right now. This year I am working on four special quilts for my sisters--Carol, Laura, Charlotte and Bonnie. I am new at this blogging stuff (obviously) so I'm going to attempt to put a picture of each one on here.
For my hand full of followers...this could get pretty darn boring. I think I'm going to set a goal right now to make this mostly just a journal. Who the heck cares about what's going on in my life or what my latest quilt is that I'm working on?! I look at my daughters' blogs because I like to hear about their lives and see my GRAND BABIES. My other passion in life; spoiling grand kids. What a great life.
