Playing Catch-up

I can't believe how many projects I actually did in 2025 that I didn't even blog about. Bowl cozies (many!), table runners, bags, etc. I also helped a few grandkids make some things also that they are giving away during their cousins gift exchange in a couple of days.

Here are some of the bowl cozies I made for an employee gift exchange (I made 16 of these for gift exchanges, with the bowls):

Christmas snow globes mini quilt that I gave to the agrolls.

Notebook cover using a pattern from my Christmas box and an embroidery pattern from the box.

Snap bag made with a pattern and the metal bands from the MSQC quilt box.

My Latest Quilt for 2025

I just finished this one yesterday (12/28/25). We received a quilt block pattern every month for 12 months from Corey Yoder of Coriander Quilts. I just used lots of different scrap fabrics from my stash. I need to make a couple more scrap quilts in 2026 to use up more scraps. I usually give these to charity, but not sure about this one. I tend to keep the quilts that are more time-consuming or have personal meaning to me. The rest are gifts or go to charity or auctions.

The quilt is called Calli & Co mystery block quilt-along, but I chose not to use Calli & Co fabrics.

Grandma's Kitchen Quilt Along 2025

I had to refer to my little quilting journal (that Crystal gave me Christmas 2024) to remember what this one was. It's called Grandma's Kitchen and it was a quilt-along with Pat Sloan and I made all the blocks (one each week) from January 3 to June. I finished piecing the quilt top in July and quilted it in July. The pattern by Pat Sloan, as mentioned, and the fabrics are Rosemary's Cottage by Camille Roskelley.

Obviously, I haven't been keeping up very well on blogging about my quilts. I have made other quilts, table runners, wall quilts, bags, etc., but I didn't save pictures of everything. I may have some pics that I sent to my girls, so I will see what I can dig up.

Row Along Quilt 2025

I just really liked the fabric and pattern by Sheri and Chelsi, so I made one for fun. I am keeping this one.

Foundation Paper Pieced Quilt in 2025

I decided to do a paper-pieced quilt using Sheri and Chelsi fabrics.
I ended up keeping this one, since it took so long to make.

A Charity Quilt

This one will go to charity in 2026.
I believe these are fabrics by Pat Sloane.

Kassie Quilt for Christmas

Jacob gave this one to Kassie for Christmas in her favorite colors.

Christmas 2025 Grandkids Quilted Wall Hangings

Another big endeavor was to make quilted wall hangings for each of the 15 grandkids. I have pictures of 10 of them, so I will post them here. Waiting on Crystal to take pictures of hers.
