Crystal took a picture of her quilt on the door to the classroom. One of her students said "Your pencil 'blanket' won't keep you warm if you put it up on the wall. You should take it off and wrap it around yourself at recess." That made me laugh. It is a common understanding that a quilt is for wrapping around you and keeping yourself warm. This one is too small for that, but she's got the right idea.
