Mesa Falls

I keep forgetting to post these pictures of one of our many trips to the mountains, lakes, rivers, etc. this summer!  I don't spend all of my time in front of this computer!  Would much rather be outside.  Now, if only we had an ocean less than two hours away like we did when I was growing up in Oregon...

Crystal and family and Jessica and family were on this trip also, but I figured if they wanted to have their family pictures posted, they will do that on their own blogs.  What fun times!                              

Vintage Sewing Machine Frenzy

So my DH has been finding all these vintage sewing machines at yard sales/estate sales/DI.  So, I now have two 1940's Pfaff's and one from about 1960 (pictured) and a Free Westinghouse, which I know nothing about.  He is now going to start taking lessons on how to clean and service them, otherwise it could end up costing me a fortune to keep them going.  Granted, I probably won't keep them all.  My dream is to own a quilt shop or fabric store or something along those lines, and would love to set up a few vintage machines for people to use (like my girls).
