2013 Projects Completed

Linking Party

Linking up over at Freemotion by the River today. I haven't had the most productive week, with all the holidays thrown in there, but I linked up my No Name quilt. If you have anything to share, click on this button and you can link up with the rest of us.

Fluttler Quilt Progress

Things are moving forward on my Flutter quilt. I have plans to do quite a bit of machine quilting on this one, but I would like to have it done by tomorrow night. I purchased two king-size white (high quality) sheets and I'm going to put together a plain, white spread for my bed. The Flutter quilt will be an accent quilt for the end of the bed. I hope to have pictures soon. I am excited about the new splashes of color going into our master bedroom. Bright and cheery!
Still need to work on making a new king-size platform base for our mattress though. If I can talk the spouse into working on that tomorrow....we shall see!

No Name Quilt

This one is for our Plant Manager for Christmas. A no-name quilt because I used a few different quilt patterns for ideas to put this one together. The fabric is Nature's Basket by Blackbird Designs. Somewhat neutral to go with all their blue, brown, green in the recipients house. You know how that is. Just never know exactly what to do, so I came up with this:

Flutter Quilt

A sneak peak at my next quilting project. A quilt for ME! Now that's a switch. These lovely fabrics (most of them, that is) are 'Flutter' by The Quilted Fish. Anxious to get started on my very own quilt.

A New Addition

This is the newest addition to my sewing room. The OttLite of my dreams! I really love the sewing tray in this one. And it's perfect for this corner near one of my machines. It's also an early Christmas gift from my husband.

Sewing Studio

A sneak peak of some projects that are finally done in the sewing room. More to follow. Have to take some time to actually USE the sewing room before Christmas. After that I can work on getting more organized.

Surprise! A Finished Quilt!

Finally got the sewing room together enough to do some quilting.  This will go to a sweet little girl, but just haven't decided which one yet. My grand daughters have so many quilts AND creative mommies, so they probably don't need this one very bad
