ABC Wall Quilt

Sending this one to Jessica to use as a wall quilt in her baby's nursery.  Finished making six flax seed/massage therapy bags over the weekend, but forgot to take pictures before I shipped them off to the hospital.  Terry's sister sells them in her massage therapy office.  I'll make a few more another weekend for Aaron to use one his massage patients.
NOTE:  The letters are pre-cut and made so you just iron them in place.  Very handy.  I purchased these through Etsy and the gal had just the brown left, but I'm sure you can get them in other colors.  These are dark brown with tiny polka-dots. 

Baby, it's cold outside!!

I know Missouri is not the only cold spot on the map this week, but dang it's soooooo cold.  I have to walk from my house up to our business many yards away and it takes me hours to get warmed back up each time.  I feel like an ice cube.  The regular temp is around 1 degree and with the windchill factor thrown in there, it's waaay below that.  Looks like we'll be in the freezing temps for the next week.  I will stay inside this weekend as much as I can and continue working on the ABC quilt.  Hopefully I can post a picture of that by the end of the weekend.

New Fabric

Not much need for explanation here.  I bought new fabrics, which is absolutely essential for new projects.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to everyone! Any New Year's resolutions you plan to keep? I'm going to finish some work in progresses (the WIP list to the right), which I think is going to be a resolution I can actually keep. Maybe just try to be a nicer person, and I'm sure I can find a few more up my sleeve. If we aren't constantly trying to improve then what the heck is the point any way? We shouldn't use another new year as an excuse to do that though. Time never stands still and life is far too short.
I recently attended a birthday celebration/open house for a dear friend who just turned 90. She has so much wisdom and is just a good example of humility and love. I hope to become half the person she is. We need more people in the world like my friend Grace!
