This is what our water garden looks like after a hard winter. I removed the smaller rocks from around the pond. We have to catch the fish (where are you Chandler?) and put them somewhere else temporarily until the project is complete. We have at least 9 gold fish in there. The big bolder sitting in the middle ended up there after the frost heaves forced it from the side--it used to be part of our waterfall. We will remove the liner and put a new, sturdier one in it's place. It will be a little deeper and slightly different shape. We are adding a second pump with a special filtering system on it, using the smaller water pump for just the waterfall. We will have to replant some of our hosta's, etc, and figure out where to put our lighting. What a job! However, Terry and I are both kind of excited about what the end result will be, so that will keep us motivated. I will post another picture in a few days of our progress.

More Pillows
These are the pillows I made for my own sofa. Wonderful gold fabric picked up at Home Fabrics in Idaho Falls for $6.00/yd. I used recycled fibers from another big pillow for the stuffing and what a great bargain! Really adds some needed color to the living room.
Allison Cove Moore
New addition to the family, and the reason I spent a couple of weeks in Idaho. She is such a doll. So cuddly and sweet. She's even cuter in real life.
Pillows for Jess
Apparently the whole family is in the mood for new pillows/covers because I think most of our households have them this month. I recovered these for Jess. She chose the fabric and I really like it in her living room...hopefully she does too.

Updates
I haven't blogged for a while, since we were out of town and kinda busy. Went to Idaho to visit the kids there and to get to know our new grandbaby, Allison. She's is adorable, of course. She is 3 weeks old today! I will post pictures soon. However, Jess has plenty on her blog at candjmoore.blogspot.com.
I purchased some new fabrics while I was out west. Helped put together a nursing blanket for Jess and covered a few of her throw pillows for her sofa. Will have to post pics of those as soon as I get my camera back from our secretary, who is using it for work stuff.
On the agenda for this week...I will be covering some throw pillows for a guest bedroom and making some new throw pillows in a lovely gold hue for my living room. It's spring, so always need some new things with color in them to add here and there.
Will also spend some time finishing up the quilts that Crystal and I put together for Audrey and Jane. I just have to finish sandwiching them together and get the machine quilting done, which will not be complicated. Simple quilting on them.

Stippled Green Scrap Quilt
Completed. Ended up doing an all-over stipple stitch on this one. Did loops on the brown one, but trying to do a different machine quilting pattern on each of these scrap quilts so I can practice new stitches.
