- Are you looking forward to fall? Sure! Everyone loves fall, don't they? But I also have mixed emotions because I will be leaving my grand babies behind in Idaho for many months. There's just something about the changing of the seasons that I just love. Autumn is a time to look forward to the holidays.
- What are the three best colors for you to wear, and the three worst? The colors that look best on me are red, blue, and purple. I am a "winter" person.
- What is your favorite kind of juice? If you are not into juice, you can tell us your favorite flavor of soda, tea, coffee, Tang, mud, etc. I like anything with cranberries in it. We like to make our own homemade juice, so I like a variety as well.
- Have you ever been in the hospital (at least an overnight)? You don't need to share the ailment, but tell us what the longest time is. Only when I had babies.
- Do jingles, songs from ads, and TV or movie themes stick in your head? Do you find yourself singing them? (This question means that I'm trying to find out if I'm the only crazy person who sings quirky stuff!) All the time! But I seldom even watch television ads or listen to the radio much, so not sure why. They are mostly really old tunes, like "plop, plop, fizz, fizz, Oh what a relief it is". (Alka Seltzer, of course).

Getting to Know Each Other Better
Time to have a Chat on the Farmhouse Porch. Good way for each of us to get to know each other better. I will spend some time visiting others to see what their answers are to today's questions.

QUESTIONS
Linking Over at Freemotion by the River
How about a Linky party today? I may do a couple of these this week if I can find the time. Trying to get ready for a trip to Oregon. Family reunions can be so exhausting, but looking forward to it!

You can click on the button and link up over at Freemotion by the River. It's fun to see new ideas and find new friends.

GRAND-babe Updates
This is obviously my day for posting some updates. I don't have any pictures on my camera of new grand-daughters (shame on me!!), so I got access to a couple and wanted to share.
This is our youngest son, Jacob, his wife Kassie, and their sweet little girls...Natalia (2 1/2) and Kaliah, who is now 3 months--going on 4 months old already. It's just crazy how the time flies by!
And our newest precious babe, Aleya, who is one week old today!
These babies are soooo very special! Soon our youngest daughter will have a new baby girl as well and I will try to be a little quicker at posting about her.
I probably don't need to mention that this has been a very busy summer! New grandbabies, kids moving, travel, etc. Love all the craziness though!

A Camping We Will Go
When we are in Idaho we try to go on at least 1-2 camping trips. For some reason I usually forget my camera. I remembered it on the last trip. I saw a Wolverine in the mountains near Star Valley, WY, which was super cool. The hubby won't forgive me for not showing it to him (we were together on a hiking trail), but I was in shock when I saw it, thinking it was a bear! So by the time I got his attention, it was gone. Apparently the sighting of a Wolverine is quite a rare occurrence.
We hiked and just had a good, relaxing time.
A cute new tent--because somehow we forgot part of ours. Who does that?!
Good times! This is definitely NOT something I enjoy doing in the Midwest where it it hot, hot, hot and humid and so many ticks and chiggers. Maybe some day we will purchase an RV and can experience some new adventures together.

It's Finished!
Finally. Man, I thought this one was going to take me all year to complete. So many interruptions, then ya gotta be in the right mood, find just the right trimmings, decide how to bind (I used piping then put the binding toward the back of the quilt). Twin size (sort of). Time to get this baby quilt to it's rightful owner--my now 10 month old grandson
