P.S.
I know it's obvious that I changed the design of my blog, but think I like the change for now. Not all of the writing is shown for each post. You just click on the post you are interested in reading, then it will show the whole thing. Try it! It's kinda fun!
Project Updates
I have a lot of projects in the works. Waaaay too many, actually. I need to get a grip on things and start completing some projects. This cute little quilt is one I am helping Jessica with. It's going to be adorable when it's done!
And Kassie and I are working on cloth diapers for Natalia. It's been quite a job, but tomorrow we plan to make much more progress, or possibly get them all done.
I will soon be back to working on some full-size quilts that I am trying to finish for my brother's before Christmas. Maybe even take them to my friend in AZ in November and we can quilt them on her new long-arm.

Giveaway
Giveaways are so fun! But I have to admit, I've never won one yet :( Maybe someday. Here is a good one to check out if you want to have the opportunity to add some Fall fabrics to your stash. Go to http://ourcozynest.blogspot.com/ and start following her, or make a comment, or whatever. I'm not so good at linking things to my post. Maybe I will get better at this with time.

Cute New Table
This is a unique piece of furniture that Terry picked up at a garage sale. Definitely an antique, but I can't find a maker or a date on it anywhere. It is obviously a sewing cabinet, used for holding thread, needles, and other notions. The lady was 96 years old and "didn't sew much". Picked it up for $25 and checked e-bay to see if I could find anything like it for sale on there. This is the best part...$249 for one almost exactly like our find!! In fact, I think ours is a tad bit fancier, with more lion-head drawer pulls and the unique pull-out lower "drawer" thingy :) But quite obviously the same manufacturer.

Easy Crate Liner Project
Why did I not make some of these a long time ago?! ding dong. They are really easy to make and I have like a gazillion of these milk crate things. If you want the link to the tutorial, let me know and I'll dig it up for ya. I used muslin for the lining and a fabric that coordinates with my sewing room for the pretty part. The pattern in the tute is actually a little bigger than what I need for the milk crates, so you can shorten the longer dimensions by about 3" (instead of 29.5" use 26.5" measurement). I'm pretty sure the measurements given are for the little bit larger crates like you can buy at Wal-mart. So now I have a very useful (not ugly) crate to store my fabric stash or sewing notions or whatever. They are much sturdier than the fabric ones you can buy and just cuter than the plastic ones that I usually use :)
